How to interpret this formula
A long ingredient list can sound comprehensive, but the central question is dose and evidence. A study on one mushroom at a specific dose, extract type, and duration does not automatically validate a multi-ingredient product. Look for the Supplement Facts panel and exact amounts, then compare those amounts with the actual intervention used in human research.
Where the research is strongest
Shiitake has at least one small randomized human trial relevant to lipid markers. Reishi has been evaluated in randomized trials and a Cochrane review, but the evidence was limited. For several other mushrooms, cardiovascular claims often rely more heavily on laboratory, animal, mechanistic, or traditional-use evidence.
